The Nuts And Bolts
This will be an open evening of working songs, looking at those moments where the lyric and melody come about, how word sounds and duration matter, emotion in the song, looking at appropriate song structures, chord progressions that fit the lyric, writing with honesty – writing what you know.
Bring your favorite songs to share (include lyric sheets) and we’ll take a look at what works, and where it can be improved.
We will also video anyone with a finished tune.
